History

Founded in March 1986 by Nicholas A. Quarantillo and Thomas E. Korpolinski, Great Lakes Customs Brokerage, Inc. began operations at the Peace Bridge in Buffalo, New York.

As volume and demand increased, additional release offices were opened in the ports of Lewiston, Alexandria Bay, and Champlain, New York; in Detroit, and Port Huron, Michigan; and a sales office in Montréal, Québec.

Our logistics services, which include freight forwarding, freight brokerage, international parcel consolidation, warehouse and distribution, and technology, have expanded significantly through the use of our own truck fleet.

Throughout our history, we have demonstrated growth in services, resources, state-of-the-art technology and expertise, and have established ourselves as a premium choice for delivering products across international borders.
